CONTRACT

The company Alfred Derbyshire Ltd trading through the internet under the trade name of Derbyshires (the supplier) we offer goods and services to you or your company (the customer), the suppliers reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions without notice to the customer with changed being applied to orders received or working practice from the date of any change.

DELIVERY

Deliveries to UK mainland normally take between 24 – 96 hours depending on stock availability.
For orders under £100 there is a standard delivery charge of £6.95 per order with no minimum order value.
All deliveries must be signed for by the customer. Deliveries will not be left without a signature, the courier will leave a calling card with contact details of the local depot. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact the courier to arrange a convenient delivery date. Should the delivery not be made the second time the goods will be returned to the supplier and an additional delivery charge will be made to re-dispatch the goods.

RETURNS

You will be able to return any unused goods within 7 days of purchase for a refund minus the delivery cost and a 10% restocking fee. The goods must be unused and in their original unopened packaging.
You must contact the supplier prior to a return to obtain an authorised returns number which must be enclosed with your details in the package. We recommend that you use a courier with a recorded delivery service for your protection as we cannot be held responsible for goods not received.

If you receive any items incorrectly you must contact the supplier within 3 working days to obtain an authorised returns number and we will arrange for them to be collected from you and the correct items delivered to you free of charge by return. Please check all orders before sending and make a copy of any emails and invoices for your own reference.

In the unlikely event that goods are delivered damaged or faulty you must contact the supplier within 3 working days to obtain an authorised returns number and we will arrange for the goods to be collected from you and a replacement sent upon receipt of the original faulty/damaged goods.

Power tools are covered by the manufacturers warranty and these manufacturers should be contacted in the first instance. A list of main manufacturers and contact details can be found below. Please note that the warranty for power tools does not cover accidental damage, misuse and or abuse of the machine or fair wear and tear and the granting of any warranty repair is totally at the discretion of the manufacturer.
